Split Rock
Moses struck this five story tall rock as instructed by God, and water flowed out for the people to drink. Thank you Lord!
Ron Wyatt discovered these sites through study and prayer. In 1978, he found a column in the water at the crossing site and then scuba dived there and found chariot wheels. He knew for sure that Mount Sinai would be over across the waters in Saudi Arabia and ancient Midian. In 1984, he walked into Saudi Arabia and found the mountain of God, but was arrested and accused of being a spy. After 78 days in prison he was released. We thank God for partnering with Mr. Wyatt to uncover these sites.
The search for the Red Sea crossing
In 1978, Ron Wyatt went to southern Israel, at Eilat, and hired a pilot and plane to assist him in finding the Red Sea crossing location. He asked the pilot, named Moses, if the children of Israel could make their way through the mountains and to the eastern side of the Sinai Peninsula. The pilot flew him down to Nuweiba and said they would have come through the Wadi Watir and arrived at Nuweiba Egypt, and 3 mile by 5 mile long beach area. Mr. Wyatt then walked along the shoreline there and at the south end of the beach his son Danny saw a column laying in the water at the south end of the beach. They returned home to Tennessee to take scuba diving lessons and later that year made their first dive to inspect the waters. Their first dive they found a coral covered chariot wheel! Amazing. The waters here are the biblical Red Sea, or the Hebrew yam-suph. We are told that Solomon built his sea port at Elath on the red sea, and this city is modern day Eilat at the southern tip of Israel, here at the Gulf of Aqaba.
The location
It was at the eastern side of the Sinai peninsula that Mr. Wyatt found the artifacts . And to the east we can see the real "Mount Sinai in Arabia", Gal. 4:25
Pathway thru the mountains
Here you can see how we traveled thru the Sinai Peninsula and as we headed east. You can see these mountains with a pathway or wadi. The Bible said "they are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in." Ex 14:3
The Beach
Looking south, this is the south end of the beach where the pillar and chariot wheels were discovered. Saudi Arabia is to our left. About a dozen divers have found chariot remains in these waters, with Ron Wyatt and his sons being the first in 1978. Today, the beach is melted from the pillar of fire standing at this location.
Underwater Artifacts
Human femur
At right is a coral covered human femur from one of men of pharaoh's army. This and other bones have been found in the waters.
Chariot wheel
The gold plating can bee seen on this chariot wheel. We are told that there were "600 choice chariots" and all the chariots of Egypt. God removed the wheels from the chariots to shut them down, and then the waters fell upon the men. Photo, Ron Wyatt, courtesy anchorstone.com
Chariot wheel
Viveka Ponten shot this photo of a wheel over near the Saudi beach, which tells us the remains from the army continue all the way across the waters. One can see the raised center hub and the round form of the wheel.

Elim Oasis with 12 wells as recorded in Exodus
Ron Wyatt discovered the real Mount Sinai in 1984 when he walked through the desert from Jordan and into Saudi Arabia. He never could get a tourism permit. One of the first sites the children of Israel encountered in Midian was the Elim Oasis with its 12 wells and 70 palm trees. To this day there are still 12 wells at the oasis. This area is southwest of Mount Sinai and about three miles from the Gulf of Aqaba. We parked at the gulf and walked into the area, winding our way through the canyon or wadi. You can see the programs with Kevin Fisher of ArkDiscovery.com that were recorded at Michael Roods studio for Shabbat Night Live in these YouTube links:

Also in this area is the town of Al Bad where the ancient caves of Jethro are located. They have a nice visitors' center there with displays. There are more contemporary facades carved into the stone rock today. Jethro was Moeses' father-in-law. Across town is a well that is called the well of Moses. We this the well that Moses first encountered when he reached this area after fleeing from Egypt?

Well of Moses at Al Bad
One last image from the Al Bad area before we go to Mount Sinai. The well is quite deep and had steps carved into the side of the well casing so one could more easily reach the bottom.
Golden Calf Altar
At left is the altar and in the background is Mount Sinai. The governmnet is paving a road out to this area that we had to drive through sand roads in the times we have been there.
Carved drawings
Near the mountain are these Egyptian style drawings of Apis bulls that the children of Israel carved on this roack. Evidence of their apostasy from the Lord.
Altar animal pen
At the base of the mountain is this animal pen with six altars for sacrifice. The animals were held in this area until it was time to sacrifice them. The blackened peak is to our right
Altars
Altars are in this area in the foreground, and the animal pen in the background
Cave of Jethro
This 20 ft cave is where Elijah went after fleeing from Ahab and Jezebel. It is higher on the mountain and would be a safe place to hang out. This area has a treasure trove of evidence, proving that it is the real mount Sinai.
